About CBIT:-
Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) was established in the year 1979. It has emerged as a prestigious professional organization in the past 28 years. Affiliated to Osmania University in Hyderabad, CBIT is among the best self-financing Engineering colleges imparting high quality technical education in A.P and
it is also the first ISO 9001-2000 certified Engineering Institute of AP. CBIT has been accredited by NBA committee in 1998 and 2004.The college offers nine undergraduate programs including Biotechnology and post graduate programs in MCA, MBA, ME (CIVIL, MECH, ECE, EEE) and M.Tech (CSE).


About Department of Biotechnology:-

Department of Biotechnology established by CBIT in 2005 is first of its kind in engineering education under Osmania University. It is driven by experience of the faculty creating zeal in students to succeed. The department initially started with an intake of 60 students in biotech and has grown into a role model institute already. The beauty of department lies in the fast paced growth it has achieved and sustained. The department has established well-equipped laboratories covering all the specialized areas of Biotechnology. It has been active in organizing various
programs of general and academic interest to inspire the students into the field of biotech and groom them to be future leaders.
